We also kept slaves and denied women a voice and interned people who looked like “the enemy” and shot innocent people in their beds and suffocated them on the street in broad daylight and turned a blind eye when millions of people were being gassed to death in Europe and obliterated entire cities in Asia and let LGBTQ+ people die rather than accept them for who they are and oh there was also that little thing about bringing near-annihilation to the entire country’s native population and and and and AND…
